Who we are

The Women's Society of Christian Service (WSCS) is a vibrant and compassionate ministry within HMC, Hosur, dedicated to empowering women to grow deeper in their faith, build meaningful relationships, and serve the church and community with love and kindness.

At WSCS, women find a place to belong, to be nurtured, and to shine — reflecting Christ’s love through service, worship, and fellowship.

Highlights: Women's Sunday Celebration

Our recent Women's Sunday was joyfully celebrated on March 9, 2025, in honor of International Women's Day. It was a truly blessed occasion where the entire service was led by the women of the church — except for the music ministry — reminding us beautifully that we are incomplete without one another’s support.

The church was filled with radiance as the women, dressed in elegant shades of purple, led every aspect of the service, from the opening prayer to the final benediction, all centered around the heartfelt theme:

"JESUS IS ALL THAT I NEED, BECAUSE HE IS STRONG AND KIND."

✨ A special song echoed this message, encouraging everyone to come to Jesus with every need, big or small.

✨ Our guest speaker, Prema Sundar Raj, spoke powerfully from Ephesians 3:14-20, touching upon the theme and emphasizing the vital role of women at home, in the church, and in society — calling each woman to live boldly for the glory of God.

✨ A particularly emotional moment was the baby dedication of little Devendra Babu, son of Deepa and her husband, adding a sacred significance to the day. Deepa’s heartfelt testimony moved the congregation deeply, showcasing God’s miraculous hand at work in her life.

✨ Throughout the service, every prayer, song, and act of worship reflected gratitude for the unique strength, beauty, and sacrificial spirit God has gifted to women.

As a symbol of love, commitment, and the fragrance of a Christ-centered life, every woman received a scented Bella Vita candle along with a special prayer and blessing from our Pastor.

The celebration continued with lots of laughter, photographs, a sumptuous lunch, and a special dessert — a day wrapped in God’s blessings, provision, and protection!

Our Heartbeat

At WSCS, we give thanks and praise to God for creating each one of us uniquely and beautifully. We celebrate the family, friends, and mentors He places in our lives to help us grow into the women He calls us to be.

All glory, honor, and praise to our Almighty God for enabling us to celebrate such moments of joy and for His continuous leading and guidance as we strive to reflect Him in our everyday lives.
